2 Houses in the Country

Haddon Hall
use for the filming of the new (and all of the old ones) Jane Eyre, also the Princess Bride, Pride and Prejudice, The Other Boelyn Girl, and more movies I'm sure...

this is a Pigeon hut, but they turned it into a church for the new Jane Eyre

the courtyard

the church they used for Jane Eyre when Mr. Rochester and Jane attempt to get married...

This is where the filming for Pride and Prejudice is done...this is the restaurant where Elizabeth sees Mr. Darcy talking to her Aunt and Uncle

where Mr. Darcy sat when Elizabeth was reading a letter from her sister Jane

a really old piano...

this little cottage is used in Jane Eyre

Nicole

Me (duh...)

Caitlin

a view from the back of the house

Pride and Prejudice...where Elizabeth hides from Mr. Darcy

Hardwick Hall (the old house) in ruins...I would love to have bridal or engagement pictures in here!

Hardwick Hall (the new house...built in the 1700s)

surprise!  this place was used for some Harry Potter movie stuff...

cool lights inside...

17th century keys used for the doors today!!

Nicole felt elated and wanted to run through the grass a la Sound of Music...

This is the crooked spire in Chesterfield (said to have curved when the devil saw that a virgin bride got married there who wasn't so pure...he thought it was hilarious and caused it to curve because of his laughter- or something like that)
